Finalists announced for Financial Promoter Awards 2025

The finalists for the 2025 Financial Promoter Awards - Sponsored by Opinium - has been revealed, with the industry’s top marketing and communications talent recognised across banking, investment, insurance, pensions, and agency sectors. 

Leading the charge this year, with multiple nominations are BCB Group, BlackRock, IFM Investors, Beazley and eToro. At the pinnacle of the awards, the coveted Financial Promoter of the Year title will be contested by: 

 Georgina Peters-Venzano of Beazley 

 Hazel Pitchers of IFM Investors 

 Robert Cochran of Scottish Widows 

 Noreen Biddle-Shah of Carne Group 

 Amy Butler of eToro 

These finalists represent the very best in strategic creativity, brand leadership, and measurable impact in financial marketing. "Reflecting on this year’s shortlist, Joe McGrath, CEO of Rhotic Media, the scheme organiser, emphasised the importance of celebrating the people and ideas driving financial marketing forward.

This year’s shortlist sees several firms dominating in some of the technical categories, underlining their breadth of expertise and consistent excellence. BCB Group leads the field with an impressive six nominations, spanning individual, team, and campaign honours. 

BlackRock and IFM Investors have each secured a strong presence across investment marketing, team performance, and creative campaign categories, with IFM also recognised for its digital innovation. 

In the insurance arena, Beazley has made its mark with nominations in both individual and team categories, alongside a nod for Marketing Campaign of the Year. eToro, meanwhile has demonstrated versatility with shortlistings that range from brand initiatives to in‑house team performance, while Schroders has been recognised for both its marketing leadership and content excellence.

The pensions sector is well represented by Pensions UK, which has earned nominations for individual achievement, team strength, and event‑led initiatives, and by last year’s stand out performer, Aon, whose commended work spans pensions, insurance, and in‑house communications. 

Hiscox has also impressed with recognition in marketing, events, and PR, while creative agency Designhouse has been shortlisted across digital, brand, and agency categories, a testament to its cross‑disciplinary impact. 

Winners will be revealed at an exclusive black-tie gala at the Honourable Artillery Company in the City of London on 12 November 2025, where the industry’s leading figures will gather for an evening of celebration, fine dining and networking.
