Rhotic Media welcomes its largest apprentice cohort yet

Rhotic Media Welcomes Its Largest Ever Apprentice Cohort Across Sales and Marketing

Rhotic Media is proud to announce the arrival of its largest apprentice intake to date, marking an exciting milestone for the company’s award-winning apprenticeship programme. For the first time, Rhotic is welcoming apprentices across two degree-level apprenticeship pathways: Sales Management and Digital Marketing.

This year’s cohort includes six bright new starters who will split their time between on-the-job experience at Rhotic and academic study at leading UK universities.

Joining the Sales Management degree apprenticeship in partnership with Anglia Ruskin University (ARU) are:

  • Emily Hammond
  • Harry Hasovic
  • Alexander Dowsing
  • Harry Shannon

Meanwhile, on the Digital Marketing apprenticeship in partnership with London South Bank University (LSBU), we’re delighted to welcome:

  • Henry Collins
  • Ayla Guirey

“We’re incredibly proud to welcome this talented group of apprentices into the Rhotic family,” said Joe McGrath, CEO at Rhotic Media. “

It’s a huge moment for us, not just because of the size of the cohort, but because it reflects the strength and maturity of our apprenticeship programme and our commitment to building future talent in financial media.”

Meet the Cohort

Each apprentice brings a unique set of skills, interests, and ambitions:

  • Emily Hammond is eager to develop real-world experience in media sales and grow with guidance from Rhotic’s commercial team.
  • Harry Hasovic is looking forward to immersing himself in the world of financial media and events, gaining a deep understanding of the industry.
  • Alexander Dowsing hopes to become a confident sales professional and is excited to begin learning the ropes.
  • Harry Shannon brings a strong curiosity about financial markets and is keen to hone his business development skills.
  • Henry Collins is excited to apply his academic knowledge to real-world marketing projects, strengthening both his creative and analytical abilities.
  • Ayla Guireys is excited to gain real-world experience on her Digital Marketing apprenticeship journey.

A Proven Commitment to Developing Talent

Rhotic Media’s investment in early-career talent was recently recognised when the firm was named Apprentice Employer of the Year (Small Business) at the 2025 UK Apprentice Guide Awards. Since launching the scheme in 2019, Rhotic has developed a bespoke, sector-focused curriculum, blending in-house training with rigorous academic study through its partnerships with LSBU and ARU.

Many past apprentices have gone on to secure full-time roles at Rhotic or have continued their careers with clients in financial marketing and publishing.
